Bilateral meetings were realized within the framework of the 2nd Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States

Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov held bilateral meetings within the framework of the 2nd Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture of the Organization of Turkic States and the 2nd Agro Business Forum of Turkic states.

Minister Majnun Mammadov firstly met with the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye Ibrahim Yumakli. Comprehensive information was given  at the meeting on the work done under the leadership of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the direction of the development of the agri sector in our country. Extensive discussions were held on digitalization in the agricultural field, the application of innovative technologies and solutions, ensuring sustainable development of the agricultural sector, and the importance of exchanging experience in these areas.  It was also emphasized at the meeting that there is great potential for expanding mutual relations in the field of agriculture. The parties emphasized their interest in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in the agricultural field and the importance of holding events and meetings in this format.

Then a meeting was held between Minister Majnun Mammadov and Secretary General of OTS Kubanichbek Omraliyev.  It was emphasized during the meeting that the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev was interested in strengthening the Organization of Turkic States and repeatedly noted the importance of deepening cooperation between the member countries in all areas.

The current state of cooperation with the member countries in the agrarian sector and the prospects for future cooperation were discussed  detailly at the meeting. It was noted that the expansion of cooperation with the member states of the organization in the agricultural field in the bilateral and multilateral spheres is of great importance.
