The staff of the Ministry of Agriculture visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the professional holiday

1st of November is annually celebrated as the day of agricultural workers in Azerbaijan according to the order signed by the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in 2008. On the occasion of the professional holiday, the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture commemorated National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and laid a wreath at his grave. Later, the memory of the prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was honored and flowers were laid on her grave.

Then the leadership and staff of the Ministry commemorated the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the Alley of Martyrs and laid flowers at their graves.
