Minister Majnun Mammadov met with Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Moldova to Azerbaijan

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan, Issam bin Saleh al-Juteyli.

Welcoming the guests, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov gave detailed information to the meeting participants on state support for the agrarian sector in Azerbaijan. It was noted that cooperation between the two countries in all areas is developing dynamically. The parties stressed their interest in expanding cooperation in the agri sector.

At the meeting, the issues of cooperation in the agrarian sphere and strengthening the legal and contractual base between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, increasing the trade turnover of agricultural and food products, and the transfer of the most modern technologies in the field of Agriculture were discussed.

Moreover, a meeting was held between Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Azerbaijan Alexander Esaulenko.

The parties discussed the activities of the joint Azerbaijani-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the fifth meeting of the commission to be held in Moldova on December 6 of this year. At the same time, the parties discussed the cooperation opportunities of the two countries in the fields of agriculture, energy, transport, education, tourism and others, the agreements signed and agreed in these areas, and the directions of future cooperation.

During the meeting, an extensive exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest.
