An event on topic of "The role of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of agriculture" was held

An event on the topic of “The role of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of Agriculture” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry of Agriculture. On December 6, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sarvan Jafarov, Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy of the Milli Majlis Tahir Rzayev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the New Azerbaijan Party Arif Rahimzade, member of the Council of Veterans of the New Azerbaijan Party Shahlar Asgarov, Chairman of the Yasamal District branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, responsible persons and employees of subordinate bodies.

The participants of the event laid a wreath at the bust of the Great Leader erected in the foyer of the administrative building of the Ministry of Agriculture and honored his dear memory.

Then, the event on "The role of great leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of agriculture" initiated. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was firstly performed at the event, and the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroic martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Opening the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Chairman of the First Party Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Yasamal District, Sarvan Jafarov mentioned that Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has exceptional services in the establishment and development of the agricultural system in our country, as well as in all spheres of the economy. The decisions taken during the reign of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan and the complex action plan formulated the basic principles of sustainable development in the agrarian sector. The Deputy Minister added that the socio-economic policy based on the far-sighted policy, goals, objectives and principles defined by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is now successfully continued under the leadership of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the New Azerbaijan Party Arif Rahimzade shared his memories of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and spoke about his activities in the direction of building an independent state of Azerbaijan and preserving its independence. He emphasized that after Great Leader Heydar Aliyev came to power, there was a big turn in the economy of Azerbaijan and all sectors of the economy developed.

Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy of the Milli Majlis Tahir Rzayev touched upon the achievements achieved during the reign of the National Leader in Azerbaijan. The Chairman of the Committee noted that the development built on a solid foundation continues today.

Member of the Council of Veterans Shahlar Asgarov spoke about the role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan and his unparalleled services to the Azerbaijani people and state. He said that the large-scale reforms carried out in our country under the leadership of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev served to form economic potential, revive socio-cultural life and revive national and moral values.

Chairman of the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev noted that dynamic economic development was achieved owning to the selfless work of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and Azerbaijan was significantly ahead of the former Union republics in terms of economic development indicators. The NAP official added that the policy defined and implemented by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for sustainable development in modern Azerbaijan.

After the speeches, a film dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was shown. At the end of the event, a group of employees of the Ministry of Agriculture were awarded with honorary diplomas for the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” and active socio-political activities in the party. At the event, members of the New Azerbaijan Party were presented membership cards of the party.
