More than 16 vacancies were taken to the 1000th career exhibition in ASAU

The 16th career exhibition was held at Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASAU).

The participants of the event first visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the central square of Ganja city and laid flowers in front of it.

Then the opening ceremony of the exhibition took place in the courtyard of ASAU. Speaking at the event, which began with the demonstration of the promotional video of the university, rector of ASAU Zafar Gurbanov spoke about the importance of career exhibitions traditionally held every year and wished success to graduate students. He said that more than 100 organizations and companies presented more than 1000 vacancies at the exhibition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov brought to the attention that the intensive development of agriculture directly depends on the introduction of innovations in the agricultural sector and the availability of highly qualified specialists. It is for this reason that in Azerbaijan, as in the whole world, there is an increasing need for professional personnel and specialists who have the ability to effectively use modern techniques and technologies that ensure the growth of productivity in the agrarian sector.

Deputy head of Ganja city executive power Adil Tagiyev and Consul General of Turkey in Ganja City Recep Oztop spoke about the importance of the Career Exhibition and wished success to the graduates.

After the opening ceremony, representatives of the participating companies and enterprises informed the graduates and guests about the vacancies.

Later, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan State Agricultural University and the Association of fruit and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association.

After the event, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with students studying at Asau and answered their questions.
