Inam Karimov, Minister of Agriculture met with citizens in Khachmaz

In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the heads of the central executive bodies hold receptions of citizens in the regions and implemented measures positively to resolve their appeals, statements and complaints on various issues. According to the schedule, December 25, Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov met with citizens from Khachmaz, Gusar and other fields in the administrative building of the Khachmaz State Center for Agricultural Development, listened to their statements and examined their complaints.

Before the reception, Minister Inam Karimov and the head of the executive branch of the Khachmaz region, Elnur Rzayev, visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, installed in the center of the district, and laid flowers in front of him. Minister Inam Karimov took part in the ceremony of presenting the “Agricultural Card” to agricultural producers in the Khachmaz branch of Capital Bank. The Minister informed the farmers about the new mechanism for providing agricultural subsidies. According to him, by 2020, agricultural subsidies will be provided under the new mechanism. It was noted that the new subsidizing policy provides for strengthening state support for agriculture, stimulating the production of agricultural products with export potential.

Later, Minister Inam Karimov familiarized himself with the conditions created in the administrative building of the Khachmaz State Center for Agricultural Development, and met with a group of agricultural development volunteers who provided farmers with information and consulting services. The appeals of 38 people were considered at a reception with the participation of heads of departments and subordinate departments of the ministry. Appeals of citizens were mainly related to the provision of loans to farmers on preferential terms, the supply of agricultural equipment and household water, as well as the provision of specialized work for them. The Minister listened to the appeal of each citizen and gave appropriate instructions for a comprehensive study of the issues raised and solutions as soon as possible in accordance with the law. Some of the appeals of citizens were resolved on the spot, and some of the issues were implemented under investigation. Appeals that are not within the competence of the ministry were registered for referral to the relevant authorities. During a meeting with citizens, the Minister said that the decrees signed by the President on the development of agriculture will increase the well-being of agricultural producers and the development of this sector in the country. Citizens expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for their attention and care. In the Khachmaz State Center for Agricultural Development building, the “Mobile Service” group provided the necessary services for mechanics from nearby areas. The driver’s license to drive tractors and other motor vehicles has been replaced by new ones. “Mobile Service” group will continue their activities throughout the day. Minister Inam Karimov was interested in the work of the “Mobile Service” group, listened to the calls of mechanics and made necessary recommendations.

On December 25, deputy Minister of agriculture Ilham Guliyev met with citizens of Guba, Shabran and other districts in the Guba State Center for Agricultural Development building and deputy Minister of agriculture Elchin Zeynalov met with citizens from Siyazan and Khizi districts in the Siyazan State Center for Agricultural Development. In each of the appeals of citizens in Guba and Siyazan, the appeals of 10 citizens were examined and appropriated instructions were given for a comprehensive study of issues and their solutions as soon as possible in accordance with the requirements of the law.
