Minister Majnun Mammadov met with rector of the University of Agriculture and Natural Sciences of Hungary

A meeting was held between the delegation led by the minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov and the delegation led by the rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Natural Sciences (MATE) Chaba Gurica, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, the directions of future cooperation between the two countries in the agrarian sector were discussed. During the meeting, discussions were held on the issues of scientific research in the field of agriculture, agrarian education, implementation of dual diploma programs with Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, training of specialists in the agrarian field, expansion of participation of young personnel in internship programs.

Welcoming the guests, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov recalled that during his visit to Hungary, an agreement was reached on future cooperation in the agrarian sector, and touched upon the importance of introducing innovative learning technologies of the most advanced scientific achievements in the field of agrarian education, improving the content and quality indicators of the higher education system.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome (MATE) rector Chaba Gurica stressed that such cooperation will contribute to further deepening of relations between the two countries in the field of agrarian education. He informed the guests about the teaching methods and scientific research works of MATE, the oldest agricultural higher education institution in Europe.

During the meeting, discussions were held on cooperation opportunities, student-teacher exchange between Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU) and MATE, and it was emphasized that it is important to expand joint cooperation in this area. The sides expressed their interest in establishing bilateral cooperation, conducting joint scientific research and developing cooperation in the field of exchange of experience.

Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
