Minister Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of wine production and poultry farms in Khachmaz and Shabran

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of wine production and poultry enterprises operating in the Guba-Khashmaz economic region.

Getting acquainted with “FA Valley” LLC, “Khachmaz - Sharab” OJSC in Khachmaz district, and “Merit Brand” LLC in Shabran district, the Minister was informed about the current state of the enterprises, technological equipment used in production and products produced, increasing competitive wine production, opportunities for exporting products to foreign markets.

During the meetings held at the enterprises, the exchange of views on the difficulties arising during production, the steps to be taken to increase export opportunities, the transfer of best experience to other producers, the strengthening of personnel potential in this area, the possibilities of cooperation with wine production enterprises of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University were discussed.

Later, Minister Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of “Siyazan broyler” OJSC, which operates in Siyazan district, and became interested in the application of modern technologies in the production of poultry meat. The Minister was informed in detail about the process of production of chicken meat in accordance with sanitary-hygienic and food safety rules, certification of products, that the entire production chain at the enterprise is adapted to international food safety management systems.
