Minister Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with activities of wine production enterprises and livestock farms located in Shamakhi and Agsu

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the wine production enterprises located in Shamakhi and Agsu districts and the activities of the livestock farm located in Agsu district.

Minister was informed about the current state of the enterprises, technological equipment used in production and products produced, visiting the organic wine producer “Shirvan Sharabları” (“Meysari”) in Shamakhi district and the wine production enterprises “Azgranata” LLC in Agsu district.

At the meetings, development of winemaking in the country, the application of modern technologies to increase the production and quality of wine products, exchange of experience in this field, the work done and steps to be taken to expand product exports to foreign markets was discussed.

Later, Minister Majnun Mammadov visited “Agsu Agropark” CJSC located in Agsu district and got acquainted with the activities of the livestock farm. It was noted that one of the main areas of activity of the agropark is livestock farming. The need for feed of livestock complex is met through domestic production. This enterprise is engaged in agricultural activities by applying modern irrigation systems to ensure the feed base in the farm.

Minister was informed about the work carried out at the enterprise, and an exchange of views was held on the issues of further improvement of the production process, development of livestock and dairy farming, the importance of creating specialized beef and dairy cattle farms, the application of modern technologies in production, feed supply in livestock farming, and the importance of innovative feeding.
