Minister Majnun Mammadov received citizens and met with farmers in Tovuz

In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the heads of the central executive authorities hold receptions of citizens in the regions, take measures to positively resolve their appeals, petitions and complaints on various issues. In accordance with the drawn up reception schedule, on April 18, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov received citizens from Tovuz, Shamkir, Agstafa, Gazakh and Gadabay regions in the administrative building of the Tovuz State Agricultural Development Center.

At the reception, held with the participation of heads of departments and subordinate structures of the Ministry, the citizens' appeals were mainly related to employment, allocation of equipment for rent, development of poultry farming, allocation of land in the liberated territories, insurance payments for damage caused, payment of subsidies, agricultural education, provision of irrigation water and other issues. Minister Majnun Mammadov listened carefully to each citizen's appeal and gave relevant instructions for a comprehensive study of the issues raised and their resolution in a short time in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Some of the citizens' appeals were resolved on the spot, and some of the raised issues were taken under control for investigation.

Appeals that do not fall within the scope of the Ministry's activities have been registered for delivery to the relevant agencies. During the meeting with the citizens, the Minister emphasized that the Orders signed by the Head of State on the development of agriculture will improve the welfare of agricultural producers and give impetus to the development of this sector in our country. The citizens who came to the reception expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown.

Later, Minister Majnun Mammadov met with the Agrarian Development Volunteers and presented certificates to a group of volunteers who distinguished themselves with their active activities.
