A panel discussion entitled as "Agropark model in modern agricultural approaches" was held within the framework of the II International Agrarian Innovation Forum

Within the framework of the II International Agrarian Innovation Forum held in Baku, a panel discussion entitled “Agropark Model in Modern Agricultural Approaches” was organized under the moderation of Rashad Huseynov, Director of the Agrarian Research Center.

The main purpose of the discussions was to evaluate the role and importance of the agropark model in the development of modern agriculture, to formulate recommendations by evaluating the existing challenges and opportunities in the application of this model, and to formulate recommendations. The speakers were Vahid Novruzov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Agro Food Investments” LLC, Ramil Mammadov, Executive Director of “AgroDairy” Group of Companies, Ilham Abdullayev, Director of Business Development of “Azersun Holding” and Adil Suleymanzade, Director of “Bina Agro” CJSC.

The speakers informed the participants about the directions of activity of the organizations they represent, the agroparks operating under these organizations, and shared their views on the agropark model. The discussions also discussed the conditions and opportunities created by the state for the activity of agroparks. It was noted that the creation and development of agroparks has great potential in terms of achieving the goals of modernization of agriculture, ensuring food security and increasing employment in rural areas. The agropark model can act as one of the main leading mechanisms for innovation-oriented development in the country's agrarian sector.

The discussions also highlighted the difficulties, shortcomings, and work that needs to be done to fully utilize the potential of agroparks, and made proposals for solving these problems.
