Minister Majnun Mammadov met with Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic

Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev within the framework of the IV Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture of the Turkic States Organization.

During the meeting, Minister Majnun Mammadov provided detailed information on the work carried out in our country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, towards the development of the agrarian sector. The Minister stated that Azerbaijan attaches importance to increasing trade turnover with the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as expanding cooperation in various fields of agriculture, especially animal husbandry, fisheries and other areas.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev expressed his country's interest in learning from Azerbaijan's successful experience in digitalizing the agrarian sector, implementing agrarian insurance, and processing agricultural products. He emphasized that they are interested in cooperation in the field of agricultural education between the two countries, and in participating in student-teacher exchange programs.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on ensuring sustainable development of the agricultural sector, the importance of exchanging experience in these areas, and it was emphasized that there is great potential for expanding mutual relations in the agricultural sector. Discussing the current state of cooperation with the member countries of the organization in the agricultural sector and the prospects for future cooperation, the parties noted the importance of expanding cooperation with the member states of the organization in the agricultural sector.
