Minister Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of a winemaking enterprise in Italy

A delegation led by Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, who is on a working visit to Italy, got acquainted with the activities of the famous “Castel DePaolis” wine production enterprise located in the Lazio region.

The delegation visited the vineyards of the winemaking enterprise and became interested in modern production technologies and quality control mechanisms.

The delegation members were provided with detailed information about the activities of the enterprises, raw material supply, production capacity and product export, and were informed that products complying with high quality standards are produced.

During the meeting, the current situation in wine production, the development of this sector, innovations applied in the production process, exchange of experience in the agricultural sector between business entities of the two countries, and increasing ecologically sustainable production and export potential were discussed. The parties exchanged views on supporting small and medium-sized wine producers and expanding access to international markets.
