Minister Majnun Mammadov received citizens in Sharur and visited farms and processing plants in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the heads of central executive bodies hold receptions of citizens in the regions, take measures to positively resolve their appeals, petitions and complaints on various issues. In accordance with the compiled reception schedule, on August 15, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov received citizens from Nakhchivan city, Babek, Julfa, Kangarli, Ordubad, Sadarak, Shahbuz and Sharur districts in the administrative building of the Sharur district executive authority, listened to their appeals and considered their petitions and complaints.

Before the reception, Minister Majnun Mammadov and the head of the Sharur district executive authority Kamal Jafarov visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his memory by laying flowers in front of it.

At the reception held with the participation of the heads of the Ministry's departments and subordinate bodies, citizens' appeals were mainly related to the provision of agricultural water to agricultural areas, the leasing of land plots, employment, the acquisition of agricultural machinery through leasing, the leasing of breeding animals and other issues. Minister Majnun Mammadov listened carefully to each citizen's appeal and gave relevant instructions for a comprehensive study of the issues raised and their resolution in a short time in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Some of the citizens' appeals were resolved on the spot, while some of the raised issues were taken under control for investigation. Appeals that did not fall within the scope of the Ministry's activities were registered for delivery to the relevant bodies. During the meeting with citizens, the Minister emphasized that the decrees signed by the head of state on the development of agriculture would improve the welfare of agricultural producers and give impetus to the development of this sector in our country. The citizens who attended the reception expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown.

After the reception, Minister Majnun Mammadov was interested in the activities of "D-Adli Gaymaq" LLC, which is engaged in the production of milk and dairy products in Aliabad settlement, visited an enterprise specializing in poultry production in Hajivar village of Babek district, visited the greenhouse farm of farmer Yagub Tagiyev in Arpachay village of Sharur district, and the arable land and cold storage of farmer Abdulla Abdullayev in Jalilkend village. During the meetings held at the farms, farmers were informed about the mechanisms of state financial support for the agricultural sector, and an exchange of views was held on the work done.
