The 1st Summer Internship Program organized by the Agricultural Research Center has ended

The 1st Summer Internship Program organized at the Agricultural Research Center has successfully concluded. Students from a number of educational institutions of the country participated in the Program titled “The First Step Towards Agrarian Science”.

The purpose of the internship program was to increase the knowledge of young people about the agrarian sector, familiarize themselves with the work done in the field of agricultural development in the country, and ensure their participation in the research work conducted at the Center. Within the framework of the 2-month Program in this direction, the Center’s director, deputy directors and advisors, as well as other employees, provided training to the participants on the history and current state of the development of Azerbaijan’s agriculture, state policy in the agrarian sector, agricultural production, food security, as well as the main points in preparing analytical reports, conducting research and studies, application of linear programming models in the agrarian sector, data analysis, etc. The trainings covered a total of 16 topics.

A visit to the Museum of Agriculture was also organized within the Program.

At the end of the trainings, specific tasks were given to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the participants during the Program. Based on these tasks, the participants prepared presentations and presented them to the trainers and other participants.

Finally, the Director of the Center, Rashad Huseynov, presented certificates to the participants of the Summer Internship Program for their participation and successful completion of the program.
