A bootcamp was held in the city of Khankendi, jointly organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Karabakh University, as part of the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture” project.
The goal of the “Bootcamp” was to promote the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the agricultural sector, to improve the knowledge and skills of young people in this direction, and to create conditions for them to become closely acquainted with the agrarian potential of the liberated territories.
Students representing about 20 higher education institutions, as well as representatives of about 10 acceleration and incubation centers, participated in the “Bootcamp”. The program provided participants with the opportunity to study innovative solutions in agriculture in a real environment, get acquainted with technological innovations on the spot, and gain experience.
During the infotour organized within the program, the participants visited the Sugovushan reservoir and the Khankendi Sewing Factory. They were provided with detailed information on the management of the region's strategic water resources, the role of digital technologies in the process of restoring agricultural infrastructure, and the integration of industrial enterprises into agricultural production.
The participants also observed the importance of applying modern technological solutions in the agricultural sector in terms of increasing productivity, efficient use of resources and expanding export opportunities.
The holding of the “Bootcamp” is of particular importance in terms of increasing the knowledge of young people in the field of innovative technologies, as well as supporting agrarian development in the liberated territories and attracting a new generation of specialists to this process.
