MINISTER MAJNUN MAMMADOV RECEIVED CITIZENS IN BILASUVAR

Based on the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, heads of central executive authorities regularly receive citizens in the regions and take measures to ensure the positive resolution of their appeals, applications, and complaints on various issues. In accordance with the approved reception schedule, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Majnun Mammadov, received citizens from the Bilasuvar, Salyan, Neftchala, Shirvan, and Hajigabul districts on November 14 at the administrative building of the Bilasuvar State Agrarian Development Center, listened to their appeals, and reviewed their applications and complaints.

Prior to the reception, Minister Majnun Mammadov and Head of the Bilasuvar District Executive Authority, Faiq Gurbanov, visited the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev located in the foyer of the district executive authority’s administrative building and paid tribute to his memory by laying fresh flowers.

The reception, held with the participation of heads of the Ministry’s departments and subordinate institutions, addressed citizens’ appeals mainly related to employment, allocation of subsidies, allocation of land plots, allocation of land plots in the liberated territories, provision of veterinary services, granting of loans on preferential terms, supply of irrigation water, and other issues.

Minister Majnun Mammadov listened attentively to each appeal and issued relevant instructions to ensure that the issues raised are comprehensively examined and resolved within a short time in accordance with legislative requirements. Some of the appeals were resolved on the spot, while others were taken under control for further investigation. Appeals not falling within the Ministry’s scope of activity were registered for submission to the relevant authorities.

During the meeting with citizens, the Minister emphasized that the decrees signed by the Head of State regarding the development of agriculture will contribute to improving the welfare of agricultural producers and further advancing the sector in the country. Citizens who attended the reception expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown.
Subsequently, Minister Majnun Mammadov presented certificates of appreciation to employees of the State Agrarian Development Centers (SADCs) selected based on a survey conducted within the framework of the “Employee Recognition Program” held at the Ministry of Agriculture in connection with November 1 – Agricultural Workers’ Day.
