Director of the Agricultural Research Center speaks at a scientific conference in Germany

Rashad Huseynov, Director of the Agricultural Research Center under the Ministry of Agriculture, participated in the final conference of the international research program “Digital Transformation of SMEs” (DT4SME) organized at the University of Mannheim, Federal Republic of Germany.

The head of the center made a presentation entitled “Evaluation of the efficiency of cotton farmers in Azerbaijan: integrated DEA and Tobit model” at the conference organized by the Institute for Research on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the University of Mannheim.

The presentation included the results of a scientific research project conducted by the author on the evaluation of farm-level efficiency indicators and factors affecting them in cotton production in Azerbaijan using mathematical optimization methods.

The presentation was met with interest by the conference participants. At the end, Rashad Huseynov answered questions of interest to the event participants.
