E-resources providing extension services to farmers are being improved

Providing extension services to farmers are one of the main areas that enable agriculture to develop. The structural units of the Ministry of Agriculture provide training in various areas of the agricultural sector. Farmers participating in trainings, various aspects of the organization of agricultural activities, innovations in agricultural legislation and comprehensive information is provided about it.

Trainings are conducted by expert instructors. The training program is developed by the relevant structural units and the farmers’ training needs in the field are taken into account when preparing the program.

E-resources used to expand extension services are constantly being developed. “Agroinfo.az" in the electronic source, farmers can read educational articles and materials on the most up-to-date topics related to plants and animal husbandry.

The e-resource contains materials related to the use of the Electronic Agricultural Information System, plant production, animal husbandry, operation and safety of agricultural machinery, technical plants, plant and animal diseases and rules for combating them. With the help of an e-resource, farmers can read both educational materials and the curriculum on the subjects they are interested in.
