Memorandum of Cooperation signed between ATM and AKIS

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Agricultural Research Center (ATM) under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS) under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The signing ceremony took place at the meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, organized within the framework of the agribusiness forum "Innovations for sustainable agroecosystems, regenerative agriculture and digitalization" held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with the participation of Italy, Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. The document was signed by Rashad Huseynov, Director of ATM, and Oybek Amanov, First Deputy Director of AKIS.

The MoU reflects the directions of future cooperation in the agricultural sector. According to the document, the parties agreed to expand cooperation in the field of agricultural research and scientific studies.
