The New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Yasamal district, Suleyman Vezirov 91 territorial first party organization (Ministry of Agriculture) held an election meeting. Opening the event with an introductory speech, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev spoke about the history of the establishment of the New Azerbaijan Party, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and touched upon the party's role in strengthening and developing the independence of the Azerbaijani state. The Deputy Minister said that the New Azerbaijan Party, which draws its strength from the support of the people, has played an important role in implementing continuous reforms in our country, maintaining socio-political stability, developing Azerbaijan, strengthening state independence, and increasing the international prestige of our country.

Zaur Aliyev emphasized that the political course laid by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, is a reliable guarantor of the sustainable development of our country. The Deputy Minister added that this policy serves to strengthen stability in our country, accelerate economic progress and increase social welfare. Giving information about the work done in the past periods, the Deputy Minister noted that the organization actively participates in all the activities of the party.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev said that thanks to the selfless work of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, dynamic economic development has been achieved, and Azerbaijan has significantly surpassed the former union republics in terms of economic development indicators. The YAP official added that the policy determined and implemented by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has created the basis for sustainable development in modern Azerbaijan. He spoke about the work done by the party today under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the contributions made by the YAP to the development of Azerbaijani statehood, and wished the participants of the election meeting of the first territorial party organization under the Ministry of Agriculture success in their activities.

The meeting considered the issue of electing a new chairman and deputy chairman of the first party organization of the Yasamal district, Suleyman Vezirov 91 territorial organization of the YAP. The candidacy of Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev was nominated for the post of chairman of the organization. As a result of the vote, Zaur Aliyev was elected chairman of the first party organization of the territory, and Farid Najafov, head of the Department of Science, Education and Human Resources of the Ministry, was elected his deputy.
