Minister Majnun Mammadov met with citizens in Kalbajar

In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the heads of central executive authorities hold receptions of citizens in the regions and take appropriate measures to positively resolve their appeals, petitions and complaints on various issues.

In accordance with the reception schedule, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with citizens from Lachin and Kalbajar regions on July 20 in Kalbajar, listened to their appeals and considered their applications and complaints.

At the reception, held with the participation of the heads of the departments and subordinate structures of the Ministry, the citizens' appeals were mainly related to employment, leasing of land plots in the liberated territories, relocation of livestock farms to the liberated territories, allocation of agricultural loans, provision of subsidies, veterinary services, irrigation and other issues.

Minister Majnun Mammadov carefully listened to each citizen's appeal and gave appropriate instructions for a comprehensive study of the issues raised and their resolution in a short time in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Some of the citizens' appeals were resolved on the spot, and some of the issues raised were taken under control for investigation. Appeals that do not fall within the scope of the Ministry's activities were registered for delivery to the relevant agencies.

During the meeting with the citizens, extensive information was provided on the main goals and priorities of the "State Program on the Development of Agricultural, Fisheries and Aquaculture Products Production and Processing in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030", new support mechanisms envisaged in the agricultural sector, efficient use of water and land resources, development of agricultural processing and logistics infrastructure, as well as expanding farmers' access to modern agricultural services, and state support measures in this direction. It was emphasized that the decrees signed by the head of state on the development of agriculture will improve the welfare of agricultural producers and give impetus to the development of this sector in our country.
