The mobile application of “AgroUber” which will provide farmer-machine-operator communication was launched for the first time in Azerbaijan

The presentation of the mobile application “AgroUber”, which carries out communication between farmers and investors was held at “Agroservice” OJSC. The mobile application operating on the Android platform will provide online communication between farmers and machine-operators on various agro-services.

Elmin Rahmanov, Chairman of the Board of "Agroservice" OJSC, said that the presented electronic product fully meets the principles of the Ministry of Agriculture's proximity to farmers, transparent and flexible management, the application of innovations. To benefit from the mobile app, farmers must download the "AgroUber" app to their mobile phone and register. A registered farmer has the opportunity to search for agro-technical services in the relevant district and village in any season. The program determines the mechanizer according to the choice of the farmer and forms the order. For example, if a farmer needs a tractor for planting, he will be able to search "AgroUber" to find a suitable machine operator and order the service. Through this software, it will be possible to provide all types of agro-technical services that can be provided at the initial stage with tractors and attachments.

It should be noted that the "AgroUber" program is being implemented in Azerbaijan for the first time in the agricultural sector. This program, based on innovative methods, will create complete transparency in the management of agro-technical services, prevent the loss of time and allow farmers to provide prompt services. At the same time, this approach will increase competition among agricultural service operators and, in parallel, improve the quality of service.

In the mobile application, the order status of the service is monitored through the program, farmers have direct access to machine operators without a third party, and a single mechanized database is formed.

Elmin Rahmanov noted that the "AgroUber" program will improve the quality of services provided to farmers and make them more accessible creates opportunities. Our main goal is to ensure farmers' access to agro-technical services in any season, to achieve high quality and flexible service.
