The 16th International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition is being continued in Izmir. The exhibition, held at the AgroExpo Center, was attended by 1,050 official guests from 80 countries. About 400,000 visitors are expected to watch the four-day exhibition. More than 10,000 foreign businessmen will attend the International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition, which is the largest agricultural exhibition in Turkey. This year, as a result of bilateral negotiations, it is expected that $ 1 billion of bilateral agreements on agriculture will be signed at the exhibition.
The opening ceremony was also attended by a delegation led by Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov. The members of the delegation visited the pavilions and got acquainted with the stands displaying innovative innovations.
After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a bilateral meeting was held between the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov and the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Bekir Pakdemirli. During the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the rapid development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture, noting that work continues in Baku in March 17 in the areas envisaged in the Declaration of Intent on cooperation in agriculture between Azerbaijan and Turkey. The sides noted that in a short time, Turkey exchanged experiences on the application of modern technologies used in the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan, and conducted pieces of training for local farmers and specialists on the basis of modern training methodologies available in Turkey. Both Ministers stressed the need to further develop cooperation in the field of agriculture, noting the great potential for this.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Minister Inam Karimov met with the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia Arjanit Khoja. Prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture were discussed at the meeting.
The 16th Izmir International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition will be lasted until September 27.
