Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey discussed cooperation at agriculture in Ankara

A trilateral meeting of the delegations of the ministers of agriculture of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey was held in Ankara, Turkey.

Firdovsi Fikratzade, director of the Agricultural Economics Research Center, Leyla Mammadova, director of the State Agro Trade Company and Rashad Karimov, director of the Supply and Procurement Department of the company attended at the meeting organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey.

During the meeting, the current status and future perspectives of cooperation in various fields of agriculture, as well as implementation affairs of protection and development of small and medium-sized farmers discussed in all three countries.

All the while discussions, it was decided to conduct joint researches to further develop small and medium-sized farmers in future and to share successful experience gained in each country in this field.

It was mentioned that there is a high level of cooperation at the agricultural sector along with other fields between our countries. It was noted that such meetings play an important role in sharing experience and applying innovation for the further development of the agricultural sector in all three countries.
