A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Agricultural Research Center and Kyungpook National University of the Republic of Korea

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Agricultural Research Center under the Ministry of Agriculture and the Daegu Gyeongbuk International Development Cooperation Center – DG-IDCC of the Kyungpook National University of the Republic of Korea. The memorandum states the intention to establish official contacts between the Centers, outlines the principles of partnership and future areas of cooperation.

Exchange of analytical information, scientific materials, publications on the activities envisaged under the Memorandum; exchange of experience of research scientists and specialists; joint work on organization of relevant meetings, conferences, study tours; implementation of joint research and development projects; cooperation in training programs, including professional education and staff development; cooperation in other areas or programs that are mutually beneficial and acceptable.

It should be noted that within the activities of the scientific-practical journal “Agricultural Economics” (www.agroeconomics.az), a scientific publication of the Agricultural Research Center, cooperation with scientists from prestigious universities and centers in the Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, South Korea and Turkey.

During the 4 years since the establishment of the Agricultural Research Center, work has been successfully completed to create databases and professional analytical capacity in accordance with modern requirements in the field of agriculture. At present, the main task for the next stage of development is to bring the Center’s research activities on agro-economic problems to the level of modern standards by expanding cooperation with the world’s leading scientific institutions and universities. In this context, cooperation with leading research institutions in Italy and Germany will be launched in the near future.
