A record number of student was received in Azerbaijan State Agricultural University

The plan for admission to the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASAU) this year amounted to 92.12%. In 2019/2020 academic year, students studied in 1368 places out of 1485 places allocated for ASAU. This is the highest figure in the history of ASAU. The highest enrollment rate in ASAU was recorded in 2018/99 school year, 1292 students were registered last year.

In the new academic year, 54 specialties were accepted at visual and correspondence departments. At the first stage of entrance examinations, admission plans for 40 specialties were fully completed. At the first stage of entrance exams, most ASAU institutions in agricultural specialties were filled, which indicates a growing interest in agricultural specialties among applicants. It should be noted that since last year a number of events implemented to stimulate education at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University. Students who has scored more than 400 points in entrance exams to universities and selected by the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University will be given additional scholarships in the amount of 100 manat and more than 200 manat - more than 200 points. At the same time, the ASAU monthly provides an additional 70 manat to students studying English, and 100 manat to students who has collected a maximum of 6 subjects during examination sessions.
