"Spring Festival" was held in Khachmaz region

On May 14, “Spring Festival” aimed at the development of the agrarian sector was held in Khachmaz region, organized by the Agrarian Services Agency for the first time in the country. Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov, Head of Khachmaz District Executive Power Elnur Rzayev, representatives of subordinate bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture, officials of the district executive power, management and employees of the Agrarian Services Agency, scientists, farmers, entrepreneurs selling agricultural products, various representatives of companies, as well as local and foreign guests attended.

The purpose of the festival is to demonstrate their products to producers of various agricultural machinery, seeds, fertilizers and seedlings to support farmers, to ensure farmers’ access to these products, to expand business contacts between farmers and entrepreneurs.

Minister Inam Karimov visited the stands displaying agricultural machinery and spare parts, locally produced seeds, seedlings, fertilizers and agricultural products. During the festival, experts provided consulting services to agricultural producers, informed about the working principles of the demonstrated innovative technologies and the advantages of their use. At the same time, an exhibition and sale fair of agricultural machinery was held as part of the festival. Farmers were provided with detailed information on the selection of varieties in accordance with the soil and climatic characteristics of the region, seed cleaning, treatment, sowing, proper use of fertilizers and information materials.

The event also featured presentations of agricultural companies, national culinary samples, presentation of new types of “Spring” bread, “Capital” and "Khachmaz" brands, and cultural and ethnographic events.
