Agrarian innovation festival was held in Zagatala

The next Agrarian Innovation Festival was organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture in Zagatala.

At the event organized on the territory of a private farm, research institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture, higher education institutions, local companies operating in the country's agrarian field demonstrated their innovative projects and technological equipment to farmers.

New irrigation system methods that increase productivity in gardens and fields, measuring instruments and laboratory equipment for agriculture and food industry, medical and sanitary equipment and drugs for livestock, sensors and devices related to fuel management, agricultural machinery, alternative energy sources, beehives based on the "Smart" system, various fodder plants and vegetable seedlings were demonstrated at the festival.

Prototypes prepared by the winners of "Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival" and students of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University were also presented at the festival.

With the participation of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, the producers of agricultural products were given extensive information about crop rotation and summer plowing at the event.

It should be noted that a series of events were implemented in Guba, Ujar, Gobustan and Aghstafa regions during the year under the organization of the Agrarian Innovation Center. More than 2000 farmers participated in these festivals.
