According to the instructions and recommendations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the heads of the central executive authorities receive citizens in the regions and take measures to adequately address their appeals and complaints on various issues. In accordance with the reception schedule, Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov received citizens from Neftchala, Salyan, and other regions in the administrative building of the Neftchala State Agrarian Development Center on October 7, listened to and took into account their requests and complaints.
Before the reception, Minister Inam Karimov and Head of the Neftchala District Executive Authority Mirhasan Seyidov visited the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city and paid tribute to his memory by placing flowers in front of it. Later, Minister Inam Karimov got acquainted with the conditions created in the administrative building of the Neftchala State Agrarian Development Center and met with a group of Agrarian Development Volunteers participating in the provision of information consulting services to farmers.
The applications of 47 people were considered at the reception held with the participation of the heads of the department and subsidiary institutions of the Ministry. The appeals of the citizens who attended the event focused mostly on providing subsidies to farmers, favorable loan conditions, provision of agricultural equipment and farm water, appropriate employment opportunities, changing the use of land, and other issues. Minister Inam Karimov carefully listened to every citizen's appeal and gave relevant instructions for a comprehensive study of the issues raised and their resolution in a short period under the requirements of the legislation. Some of the citizen appeals were addressed right away, and some of the issues raised were taken into account for future investigation. Applications that did not belong to the responsibility of the Ministry had been registered to be sent to the appropriate organizations. During the meeting with the citizens, the minister emphasized that the decrees signed by the head of state on the development of agriculture will improve the welfare of agricultural producers and promote the development of this sector in our country.
The citizens who came to the reception expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and care.
The Mobile Service Group of the Agrarian Services Agency organized a mobile service for mechanics in the building of the Neftchala State Agrarian Development Center. Tractor and other mechanical vehicle driving licenses that had expired were replaced with new ones. "Mobile Service" group continued its activities throughout the day. Minister Inam Karimov expressed interest in the process of organizing the mobile service, listened to the applications of mechanics, and gave the necessary recommendations.
After the reception, Minister Inam Karimov got familiar with the process of selling mobile fertilizers and seeds in the village of Ashagi Garamanli of Neftchala district and met with farmers. During the meeting, farmers were advised to use only certified seeds as sowing material, to consider soil-climate characteristics during seed selection, and to fully comply with agrotechnical maintenance rules during the production process. It was stated that given the available land and water resources, increasing the average productivity in grain farming depends on the selection of seeds suitable for local conditions and proper agrotechnical care. The requests made during the conversation by the farmers and seed growers were registered, and tasks were assigned to carry them out.
Later, the harvesting process was observed in the cotton field in Surra village of Neftchala district, and a meeting was held with cotton farmers. During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the advantages of a full transition to crop subsidy in cotton cultivation, proper observance of agrotechnical norms in the cultivation process, the progress of the harvesting process, equipment provision, and other matters were discussed, and the suggestions of farmers were noted.
