The fair, which runs until October 4, was attended by more than 10 farmers and association leaders.
The international animal husbandry exhibition Clermont-Ferrand is the world's largest specialized exhibition. The exhibition is attended by 1560 companies from 38 countries.
Minister Inam Karimov said in an interview with AZERTAC - “I believe that the participation of our farmers in international animal husbandry exhibitions will contribute to the faster implementation of the tasks set by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the agricultural sector”.
The Minister noted that the main purpose of visiting a group of Azerbaijani farmers at this international animal husbandry exhibition was to give them the opportunity to meet with their European colleagues, chat with them, share experiences: At the same time, they will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest agricultural machinery. ”
According to him, our state does not care about agriculture in all areas of agriculture, especially in animal husbandry. Systematic support for measures to develop the agricultural sector is provided by the state, subsidies for the development of this sector, including the importation of breeding animals in our country. About 60% of the value of each animal husbandry purchased by farmers is financed by the state, and the rest is paid on soft loans. Also, 40% of the cost of agricultural machinery is paid by the state, and the rest - by soft loans. Such attention and concern for the agricultural sector in our country creates favorable conditions for the development of agriculture.”
