President Ilham Aliyev participated in inauguration of new administrative building of Ministry of Agriculture in Baku

The new administrative building of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been put into operation in Baku.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony.

One more has been added to the list of buildings built in the capital in a modern style in recent years. The new building erected at the intersection of Najafgulu Rafiyev and Suleyman Vezirov streets in Khatai district attracts attention with its modern architecture.

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov gave information the head of state about the building.

It was mentioned that the construction of the new building had begun in 2017 and was completed on June in this year. The building, built in accordance with the modern architectural style, is intended for the activities of about 500 employees, including Agro Credit and Development Agency, Agricultural Economics Research Center, Agrarian Innovation Center and Agrarian Development volunteers, along with the office of the Ministry.

The composition “Eternity” is demonstrated in the 12-meter lobby of the building. The author of the composition is the artist-sculptor Rashad Mehdiyev.

The symbolic motive of the composition, consisting of three parts, reflects the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev who is the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan and prominent statesman.

The composition reflects ideas that demonstrate eternal values, victorious human spirit, hard work and fertility, and resilience in accordance with the philosophy of life of the Azerbaijani people. In the composition with a bust of Heydar Aliyev in the center, the branches of the tree rise towards the sky and Infinity. The network, created with a special layout in the Kufic style, denotes the sky. Reflecting the 100th anniversary of the National Leader, 100 stars shine in the sky.

The columns, which rise to the sky along with the tree, personify the sustainability of food security. The branches of the tree stretch to the right of the composition - towards the painting, which depicts fertile lands, where victory and peace are established. In the oil-painted work, the pigeons flying towards the sky over the majestic mountain and wide wheat ground heralded the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.

In the left part of the composition ”eternity" there is a sculpture of human hands, which presents the blessings that grow in our lands. Hands that personify abundance and hard work are fed from the branches of a tree.

It was noted that a special “Heydar Aliyev-100” corner dedicated to the national leader was also created here. This year our people celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founder of modern Azerbaijan, great leader Heydar Aliyev. The work done by the great leader in connection with the development of the agrarian sector in Azerbaijan is widely reflected in the corner.

During the acquaintance with the new building of the ministry, it was noted that all conditions have been created for employees on the working floors consisting of 215 rooms. The building has a special room for the Electronic Control Center of the Ministry, conference and meeting halls with all amenities and equipped with modern multimedia facilities, as well as meeting rooms for various purposes, a dining room. It was noted that a parking lot for 170 cars was created in the area.
