An event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry of Agriculture

An event on “Heydar Aliyev's legacy in agricultural development” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of great leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry of Agriculture. Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Head of the agrarian and Environmental Department of the Cabinet of Ministers Latif Gasimov, Chairman of the Yasamal District branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, employees of the Central Office of the Ministry, members of the Farmers ' Council, and farmers invited from different regions attended bat the event .

The participants of the event laid a wreath at the bust of the Great Leader, erected in the lobby of the new administrative building of the Ministry of Agriculture, and honored his dear memory. Then the participants of the conference got acquainted with the new administrative building of the Ministry.

The event on the topic of ” Heydar Aliyev's legacy in agrarian development " began with the demonstration of a film dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Opening the event, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov spoke about the unparalleled services of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan, his activities in the direction of building an independent state of Azerbaijan and preserving its independence: “the perspicacious policy, goals, tasks and principles determined by great leader Heydar Aliyev played an significant role in the basis of stable and the socio-economic policy based on these principles is successfully continued today under the leadership of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. National leader Heydar Aliyev played an exceptional role in the establishment and improvement of the agricultural system, as well as in all sectors of the economy in our country. His reforms in the agricultural sector have led to the formation of a modern agricultural system in our country for decades.”

Head of the Department of Agriculture and Ecology of the Cabinet of Ministers Latif Gasimov spoke about the services of the Great Leader to the people and state of Azerbaijan. He noted that the national leader Heydar Aliyev has laid the foundation for the dynamic and sustainable development of modern Azerbaijan. During the leadership of the great leader in Azerbaijan, as in all sectors of the economy, a new transformation stage began in the development of the agrarian sector, and a substantial rise in agricultural production was ensured.

Speaking at the event, Labour hero, well-known cotton grower Sevil Osmanova, member of farmers Council Etibar Nuriyev, chairman of “Azerbaijan poultry meat, egg producers and Exporters Association” Public Union Murvat Hasanli shared their memories of great leader Heydar Aliyev and touched upon the role of the national leader in the development of the agrarian sector. The speakers noted that the period of the National Leader's leadership in our country was forever imprinted in our modern history by the eternal and irreversible character of independence in Azerbaijan, strengthening of statehood and creating a solid foundation for economic development.

At the end of the event, membership cards were presented to new members of the New Azerbaijan Party.
