Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with the staff of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University

The academic year 2022-2023 has ended at Azerbaijan State Agricultural University. Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with the academic staff of ASAU and evaluated the work done at the University in the final academic year.

In the last academic year, a lot of work has been done to improve the personnel training process at the University.

Students were admitted on the basis of the state order at The Bachelor's degree on the dual diploma program implemented between ASAU and Ege University of Turkey. Students were enrolled in agronomy, plant protection, agroengineering and economics. The admitted students study the first 4 years of the 3-year program in their specialty at ASAU and the last 1 year at Ege University in Izmir.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, the strengthening of the material and technical base of the university was continued, modern laboratory equipment was purchased for the faculties, and training was fully carried out in the summer and winter auditoriums established in the laboratories and educational and experimental farm.

For both semesters, the examination system has been amended to ensure transparency in assessing the level of students ' knowledge, and the process has been fully electronic. The new system provides a complete correct assessment of students ' knowledge and skills.

Minister Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the new laboratories, simulation rooms installed in the educational buildings of ASAU, visited the Innovation Center, Career Center, Biotechnology Center, Student House, Vocational Training Center, Veterinary Clinic, Technical Park, Training and Practice Farm, and evaluated the process of training personnel in agricultural specialties.
