Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of research institutes operating in Ganja and Goygol.

The Minister visited the Research Institute of Plant Protection and Technical plants, the Research Institute of Livestock and the Republican Artificial Insemination Center and he was interested in the activities of the institutes and met with employees within the framework of his visit to the region.

During the meetings, the parties exchanged views on the scientific research directions of the institutes, the state of the implementation of scientific research, the improvement of the material and technical base of the institutes, the activities of laboratories, and the issues of application of the research results in practice were discussed.

It was noted that the research carried out in the institutes, subject options should correspond to the trends existing in the world in the agricultural sphere, institutes should build their scientific activities in accordance with the requirements of the day, cooperation between scientific institutions and the private sector should be expanded.
