Young specialists working in the agricultural sector will practice in Israel

The selection round of the internship program announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Arava International Agricultural Training Center (AICAT) of Israel for young professionals working in the agricultural sector has finilized.

40 people who successfully passed the exams on the basis of a two-phase selection had the opportunity to practice in the Arava region of Israel.

Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with graduates of the internship program for 2022-2023 and young professionals who have won the right to participate in the internship program.

Information was given about the future activities of the Ministry, priorities in the agrarian sector, the experiences of graduates were listened, participants ' questions were answered and an in-depth study of Israeli experience in the agrarian sector was recommended at the meeting.

It should be emphasized that the duration of the internship program is 11 months. Young specialists will have the opportunity to undergo an internship in Israel farms within 10 months within the framework of the program . Meanwhile, the program participants will take part in academic training in both agrarian and economic fields for 1 month. The internship program will run from August 2023 to July 2024.
